The Saturday night buffet was the best open buffet on the island, with all-you-can-eat lobster, live entertainment, and a really fun crowd. We sat at tables over the water by the marina. Sadly, this wonderful restaurant, the heart and soul of Oyster Pond, was destroyed by Hurricane Irma and still hadn’t been rebuilt as of November 2021.

After our sailing charter, we stayed at Captain Oliver's and were welcomed with great hospitality. The service and views were lovely, and the rooms, cleanliness, pool, and restaurant were all good. I’d definitely come back on my next trip to St. Martin and recommend their services to anyone travelling there.

The location is nice, and the rooms are large, but they’re a bit run down and there’s no insulation. We could hear the neighbors as if they were right in our room. Our flight arrived late and nobody was at the desk, though security thankfully let us into our room. In the morning, the woman at the counter was unfriendly. They also charged $30 extra for a second person, which I’d never heard of before.

The views are hard to beat, and the front desk staff were friendly. The rooms were large and clean, though they could use some updating and TLC. A microwave would be a nice addition. Even so, I’d stay there again.

A very simple, quiet place. Seems well suited for a night before or after a flight, or for people heading out on a yacht sailing trip.
