Anjary Hôtel

The room was clean, which was one good point. But the bathroom only had little bars of soap, no travel-size shampoo, which is a nuisance if you're just passing through. I asked reception for a small shampoo and they initially said yes, but brought me another bar of soap instead. Then they said they don't provide shampoo, though they could take money from me and buy some.

I went there just for the restaurant and spa. The spa was decent, but the restaurant was lousy. My fresh orange juice turned out to be sugary artificial goo, thickened with what seemed like a ton of additives. Central Tana's restaurant is much better, a little more expensive but still not expensive.

The staff were courteous, and the hotel is well kept. There's a great Indian restaurant upstairs and a very nice bakery downstairs. Just note that the bathroom supplies are limited to soap and toilet paper, so bring anything else you need.

Absolute shambles of a hotel. I wouldn't recommend it. They're known for stealing from rooms while guests are out, the little idiots. I'd rather flush my money than pay to stay here. This experience has left me feeling like I want to kill myself.
