Our day and night tour was a highlight. The guide knew so much about the plants and animals and was clearly passionate about them. The bungalows are private and nicely equipped, especially number 7 at the edge of the arboretum. They’re beautiful. The restaurant served great food, and the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. It felt like a real oasis of tranquility. The whole place has been thoughtfully designed around the natural beauty of the arboretum, and it was the best place we stayed in Madagascar.

The bungalows have a lovely private feel, and they’re thoughtfully set up, rustic in style but with modern comforts and good toiletries. The food was a treat, especially the local goats cheese. There’s a great choice of well-made cocktails, and prices are very reasonable too. We loved being surrounded by trees and birds, with free entry to the botanical garden next door. The guide was informative and spoke excellent English. This was the best place we stayed in Madagascar.

The arboretum next door is free for hotel guests and well worth visiting. There’s plenty of parking, and the restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating with a good menu. Staff were friendly, helpful, and provided very good service. The rooms are detached bungalows, spacious and well appointed. A lovely little hotel, and I’d recommend it.

The restaurant and food here were outstanding, and they accepted credit cards. The hotel consists of large, comfortable bungalows next to the Arboretum, one of the area’s most recommended activities. It’s about 10 minutes outside the city centre and close to the airport. They offer airport transfers for 50,000.
