The hotel grounds are beautifully kept, and the workspace in the bar is a peaceful place to get work done. The spa is open to outside guests and feels like a lovely retreat. I also come for Sunday brunch, and the welcoming atmosphere and five-star service come at a budget-friendly price. I've visited the Ibis Hotel in Antananarivo several times, and every experience has been excellent, whether I'm there for a comfortable stay or to work. The rooms are clean, room service is quick, and requests for extra blankets or towels are handled with a smile. The front desk team are responsive, friendly, and speak fluent English, which helps if you're still learning French. Breakfast is fresh and varied, with options for different tastes. Mr. Malkalo leads a lovely morning team, and their friendliness makes breakfast a pleasure. The bar is another highlight, and Zo deserves special thanks for making people feel at home.

I stayed for three nights. The rooms were well kept and standard, and the free internet was high-speed. Breakfast was nice, and I tried a few other menu items that were good and beautifully presented. The people of Madagascar are loving, so it wasn't a surprise that the staff were so nice and helpful.

My flight delay left me staying here unexpectedly, after the airline booked the room. The room felt a bit old but was clean, and the bathroom was okay. I enjoyed the food, especially the steak I had for lunch and dinner, and breakfast offered a good variety. I was feeling low after missing my flight, but Fernando at the front desk was kind and helpful. He suggested things to do in the morning and arranged a car and a tour guide so I could see the Queen’s Palace. That lifted my mood. Fernando has a nice vibe and works hard. He really made my day better.

A great spot with courteous, friendly staff. Some building work still needs finishing, especially around the Gym/Spa. Rooms facing the street may get barking dogs all night.
