The restaurant was great, and the food was a bit pricier than at other places we stayed in Madagascar, but still reasonable. Staff were really helpful, and there was secured parking. We enjoyed our two nights, though a pool would have been nice. The building's architecture is a little hard to understand, and the Wi-Fi was patchy. There were lots of mosquitoes, probably because of the rice fields in front. It would have been appreciated if the rooms had mosquito nets.

The restaurant served good food and the service was good. It's near the airport and market, but otherwise isolated. The rooms are deplorable: there's excessive mold in the shower, the floors creak, and things look patched up. It doesn't feel comfortable.

The Wi-Fi kept dropping out. We tried two different routers, neither reliable, which made checking in online for our flights a bit difficult. The shower took ages to get hot, and in room 10 there was nowhere to attach the shower head. When we arrived, a wedding function was winding down and the car park was full, so things felt chaotic. There are lots of stairs and no lift, but the rooms and suites are very large and comfortable. Staff were friendly and spoke very good English, and we felt welcome. Dinner pizzas were nice, and breakfast was a good continental spread with a tasty omelette and good toast. The airport is very convenient, and the arts and crafts market is a 10-15 minute walk away.

The room looks beautiful, but the air conditioning doesn't actually work, so it feels like you're paying extra for appearances. The hotel is beside the road, with pollution. The staff have a bad attitude, and the upper management seems incompetent, doesn't speak English, and seems to have an attitude.
