Hotel Appartement meublé Les Flots Bleu

For the price, this is a nice hotel. It’s clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and there’s hot water. The restaurant is reasonably priced, and the airport shuttle is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s not very close to Tana centre, which worked for me, though it’s something to keep in mind.

The room and pool were lovely, and I absolutely loved them. I’m used to hostels, so having my own shower feels like a luxury. The shower water was very warm but the pressure was low. They don’t provide free drinking water, so you have to buy bottled water. Shampoo, body soap and conditioner were also missing. The location is a little odd, though they offer airport pickups for about $4.5 per trip. The accommodation itself was pretty good.

For the price, this hotel seems almost too good to be true. The rooms were clean and nice, the staff very friendly, and the wifi was good. There’s a pool, plus billiards and ping-pong. The food was the one letdown: it was really disgusting and disappointing.

The area outside the hotel looked very dangerous, and the location wasn’t good. During a bank holiday, the pool was full of local people who weren’t staying there. At checkout, reception made mistakes and asked us for twice the accommodation cost. It took a long time to sort out.
