The restaurant was a real highlight, with fresh food served in a fine dining style. Breakfast was the best we had in all Madagascar 🫶🫶🫶. The Souimanga Hotel is a wonderful find in Antsirabe. Beyond the gates, away from the busy city, there’s an incredible garden estate. There are only a few rooms, and ours were spacious, very clean, and beautifully furnished. We absolutely loved our two room bungalow. If you’re going to Antsirabe, I can only highly recommend staying here.

We can highly recommend staying at Souimanga. It’s peaceful, the rooms have charm, and the restaurant offers a generous breakfast selection as well as dinner made with ingredients from the local farm.

The garden is beautiful and full of greenery, and the hotel itself is very cute. One small criticism: the cook had Monday off, so we had to find dinner somewhere else.

The peaceful atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and clean, cozy rooms made the stay feel warm and welcoming. The garden is absolutely beautiful, and many ingredients for their delicious meals come straight from there. A true gem in Antsirabe, highly recommended for comfort and great food.

I live and work in Madagascar, and this is one of the best hotels in the country. The restaurant is very good, often using vegetables from the gardens, the rooms are great and very clean, and the staff were wonderful. The hotel sits in an incredible permaculture forest garden where you can spend hours. Ask whether the owner Sylvain is around to show you and explain how his permaculture system works, it’s fascinating. I come to Antsirabe just to stay here and visit the garden!
