They gave me the wrong drink after I ordered, and only admitted they’d run out and substituted something else when I pointed it out. The manager didn’t seem to care. My second drink was awful, full of mango hairs. When I asked about it, he said that was just how the mango was. It was poorly filtered, and they should choose another mango variety for drinks. He just sat smoking and didn’t give a shit. It’s a shame the owner doesn’t seem to care about the guest experience. Prices are double what other places on the beach charge. Head 150m south for better service, nice drinks and good management.

After diving with the nearby center, I ate here for lunch twice. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the pesto and the rest of the food were great. Rocky looked after us really well. The hotel is smaller than I’d pictured, with just a few rooms that looked fine. Those bad reviews from five or six years ago don’t seem worth worrying about.

We loved the seafood pasta made in-house and the smoked fish. The restaurant serves delicious Italian cooking and more, and the staff were both professional and lovely. There’s a really nice feel to the place, helped along by some very sweet dogs. Highly recommend!

Waking up so close to the sand and looking out at the ocean, especially at sunset, made this such a lovely escape. My room was clean and cozy, breakfast was a delicious start with fresh local ingredients, and the hosts were warm and attentive. It was peaceful and restorative, and I’m already hoping to come back. Grazie!
