The sea view is the first thing that stays with you at Maki Lodge Restaurant. We had a table overlooking the water, with a breeze keeping things cool on a hot day. The place was surprisingly empty, probably because we visited off-season, which made for a relaxing lunch. My wife and I ordered the duck breast special, cooked just right and 45,000 Ar, a fair price for the quality and setting. The kids enjoyed seafood pasta in a tasty tomato sauce rather than the usual white one, which surprised them in a good way. Excellent food, reasonable prices, and a beautiful view.

Waking up to a little family of lemurs wandering across the terrace was a treat. The waves below the bungalow make for a really soothing sound, too. Our bungalow was spacious and airy, with a very comfortable bed. The food was delicious, and the staff were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived.
