The rooms are spacious and really good, and the staff were very helpful. I first gave it five stars, but changed that to three. At 200€ a night, the breakfast was a tiny portion and very poor, which spoiled the stay.

The apartments are very nice and upmarket. The restaurant, though, doesn't cater to South Africans: there are no decent steaks or mealy pap. Management should make the menu work for a broader range of tourists.

We came back for a second visit because we’d been so pleased the first time, and the apartment hotel is well equipped and good value. But both rooms we were moved to had unclean bed sheets. Eventually, the night shift receptionist and what I assume was the valet came to change them. With the pandemic and third COVID wave coming, cleanliness should be a priority. Also, paying by TPE or credit card comes with a 4% fee. Dear general manager, that is against the law, even here in Madagascar.

We stayed in the apartment rooms and found them lavishly set up, with all the necessary items. Awesome place to stay.

The hotel is amazingly nice and well managed. It’s the best place in Tamatave to stay, or just go for dinner and drinks, maybe even pizza.
