Studio House - Getaway

Small, but pleasant.

We stopped here on our way home from a vacation in Greece, and the studio was so nice we wished we could stay longer and enjoy it more. It’s tastefully furnished with everything a guest might need, on a quiet street in the city center, and has its own parking lot. The owner was professional and pleasant, and communication was excellent. I was surprised to find coffee and tea, books in several languages, and even an umbrella. Bitola is a lovely place, and if we’re back, we won’t look for another place to stay.

The host was helpful, got in touch before I arrived, and brought paper towels before I even had to ask. I had no trouble with the key handover, and the house had everything I needed. A lovely touch was the unopened box of filter coffee. I made plenty in the coffee machine. The two single beds make it comfortable for two people, and the kitchen had all the utensils. Outside the door there’s a table and chairs among green plants, so you can sit outdoors too. The internet was very good, and for the price it was one of my best stays. It’s in a quiet area near the bus station and Shirok Street. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's Military Academy is at the start of the street, and its museum is an easy three-minute walk away. I stayed for two days and found everything adequate. The bathroom is very small, though the house is only one room, so I could overlook that.

Kosto was a good host, and the space was enough for two people. The neighbors seemed like they might be an issue.
