Apartment Sneshka

We paid the full amount, but after we left the owner, Snezana, reported to Booking that we had never arrived. We couldn't leave a review, and we received no refund, not even part of the payment, only a bottle of wine. I found that very unprofessional, especially as the apartment doesn't deserve its 9.8 rating. The owner was kind, but the apartment wasn't as described: it was old, the furniture smelled of cigarettes, and the whole place smelled damp. My husband has asthma and felt the smell particularly strongly. At the end of September it was cold in the evenings and cold inside too, with no heating beyond the air conditioner and one radiator. I also saw three bugs in the bathroom. We had to move out that same day because my husband's lungs were bothering him, and I couldn't tolerate the cigarette smell or the cold. If you smoke, these things may not bother you, but if you're expecting a 9.8-rated place, you won't find it here.

It was only a ten minute walk to the city center, and the apartment was spacious, clean, tidy, and very well equipped. Sneška, the host, really stood out for her kindness and the useful tips she shared. Hvala puno, Sneška! :)

I came to support women-owned businesses on March 8 and to celebrate the lovely apartment in downtown Ohrid.

It's in a quiet part of the city center, with the old town about a ten minute walk away, and there's a parking spot. Great apartment and host.
