We stayed in 2018 as two families, with two rooms between us. The hosts were very nice and helpful, and the rooms were clean. From the front-facing rooms there’s a nice view of the city and lake; at the back, you look out over the castle, trees, and gardens, a peaceful view. If I return to Ohrid, I’d definitely choose to stay here again.
We loved relaxing on the balcony and looking out over the lake from our room. The host was so friendly and welcoming. Recommended.
Having free private parking on-site was a real bonus in this area, and the owner was very kind. Our cozy mezzanine apartment had a double bedroom, a comfortable sofa bed, a shower bathroom, and its own heating. The pellet stove warmed the place well, though it was a little noisy at night, especially if you were sleeping on the sofa bed. The apartment sits in the upper part of Ohrid's old town, just a few meters from the entrance. It took about ten to fifteen minutes to walk to the center, but the way back is quite uphill.
Walking uphill to the center is part of the route, but the streets are lovely to explore. We were a family of four, and everything went wonderfully from check-in through departure. Thanks so much, Apartments Pendik, for everything. We hope to return.
The hosts were so pleasant and welcoming, even greeting us with a bottle of wine. I left with some really good impressions and would gladly come back. The historic old town and its architecture make the location especially appealing. Our rooms were nicely decorated, and the price felt more than fair for the surroundings.
