I was happy here every day during my five-day stay. The location made it easy to explore Ohrid. Svet Sofia is only a three-minute walk away, and the Old Town center is about ten minutes on foot. Kaneo Church is also roughly ten minutes away along the mountain path, so I went there each day to watch the sunset. My room was tidy, and the private bathroom was spacious and clean. The landlord cleaned it thoroughly every day. The bedding and towels smelled freshly laundered, which I really appreciated. The private terrace was beautiful at every time of day. It faces south, so it stayed comfortable even around midday, and I could sit and enjoy the view. The landlord and his wife were very kind, bringing tea or coffee every day. The Turkish coffee smelled wonderful. Their English wasn’t very strong, but I speak German, so we could talk that way. Their son spoke English well, and I could coordinate things like check-in time with him. They also let me check in early. It’s a small neighborhood, and they always greeted me warmly when we crossed paths. I highly recommend staying here.

Getting around on foot was easy, though the city is hilly, so cycling or driving can be tough. If you mainly want to explore and have somewhere to sleep, this place works really well. There’s a small kitchenette for basic needs, plus a private bathroom and balcony. The furnishings were a bit old, but everything was quite clean. He picked us up at the bus station and took us back there, answered our questions, and was very polite. The only issue was the air conditioning, which cost 10 euros a day. Electricity is expensive. It wasn’t too hot while we were there, but that could be a problem in hotter weather. Thanks for everything, Peter 🌿📸

We had parking in the old town, lovely accommodation, and a beautiful view. The location was great.
