Di Angolo Apartments

Right by the town square, the location was excellent, and our room was spacious and clean for a fair price. We stayed two nights and were satisfied. There are hostel-style rooms as well as private rooms with their own bathroom and toilet, so don't be put off by the hostel sign. The owner, Antonio, was helpful and kind. His pizzeria downstairs serves great food and also acts as the hostel reception. It stays open from 10 am until midnight, so noise may reach the lower-floor rooms if you're sensitive to it. Sound insulation inside is weak too, and noisy neighbors are easy to hear through the door, though that didn't bother us much. There were no toiletries or other consumables, such as slippers, shampoo or shower gel, just hand soap in a dispenser and a hair dryer. For the price, I can't complain much, and I'd highly recommend the place. It's a standout among the other options.

I stayed at the Hostel for a few days and was impressed by the high standard. It feels more like a hotel: every room has a private bathroom, fridge and AC, and there's daily cleaning. The restaurant downstairs serves tasty food. The Hostel is right on the square in the old town, just a few meters from the lake. They have Google Street View, so you can look inside.

The square nearby is lined with cafes and restaurants, and Ohrid lake is very close. The central location is handy, though there can be occasional noise. The pizza restaurant serves great pizza. I'd give it 4 stars because the bathroom could have been cleaner.

The apartment was wonderful, clean and spacious, and close to almost everywhere. The owners and staff were so sweet, and the pizza was amazing.
