The staff were helpful and the view was very nice, but the place needs renovation throughout. There were exposed wires wrapped in tape and radiator pipes left exposed. There are also lots of stairs, so it isn't suitable for wheelchair users.
Aleksandar and another man in the restaurant were the bright spot. Both were kind, professional, and polite, and they were lovely with the hotel's cat too. They deserve 5 stars, though the hotel itself felt more like a 3-star stay. The room wasn't very clean. The receptionist was rude, refused to provide a small hand towel, and didn't properly answer my questions. The air conditioning wasn't working well, so the room felt a little cold. A woman working in the restaurant was also impolite and unhelpful.
The rooftop restaurant and the rooms have incredible views, and the location is perfect. The hotel has recently been renovated.
The view of Lake Ohrid is beautiful, and the sunset from there is the best.
