The hosts made us feel at home right away. We had a lovely conversation with the lady and her husband, both so warm and friendly. Jovanovic Guest House was peaceful, comfortable, very clean, and well equipped, and made a great base for our trip. It’s right in Ohrid’s historic Old Town, just steps from the ancient Church of Hagia Sophia (St. Sofia). We loved the views and the historic feel, with the lake and lovely local restaurants close by. Our stay was wonderful, and we’d happily choose Jovanovic Guest House again when we return to North Macedonia.

Emil and Sandra were thoughtful, helpful hosts who know the area well. The apartment was beautifully furnished, spotless, and had everything we needed. With the lake and restaurants only about 2 minutes away, everything was right nearby, and the views were breathtaking. We had a lovely stay, highly recommend it, and hope to return.

We found the hosts friendly and helpful, and they could speak and understand English. From this place in the heart of old Ohrid, the Church of Saint Sophia is right outside, with many well-known sights and the lake just a short walk away. One thing to know: the stairs to the top apartment, #3, have a short but very steep section.

We hired a two-person kayak from them today and they were so welcoming and kind. They also gave us really helpful suggestions about the best places to kayak. Afterwards, we looked around their guest house and would definitely stay there if we come back to Ohrid. The views of the lake and the nearby church are amazing. Thanks so much for being so hospitable.

Juvanovic is one of the friendliest hosts we've ever stayed with. Sandra is lovely and clearly loves her work. She knows the history really well and shared a lot of information with us in a short time. I recommend coming to Ohrid and staying here.
