The garden was spotless and full of colorful flowers, and the location was lovely, just five minutes from the beach. It’s a 15-minute walk to the center, or five minutes by car. We arrived late, but they kept our room for us instead of cancelling, which was very kind. The host was friendly, polite, and took care of everything we needed.

There’s a large sitting area in the yard for breakfast or coffee, and the rooms were clean and tidy. The lake and historic sites are close enough to reach on foot, with downtown about a 20-minute walk away. Parking on the street outside is free. The hosts were polite, helpful, and great. Highly recommended.

The hosts were wonderful and so helpful, and for hospitality alone I’d happily give this place 5*. But our room was uncomfortable, so I can’t. It’s handy if you want to stay near the old town, though the area around Villa Flora isn’t very picturesque. I can’t speak for the other rooms, but ours felt neglected, especially the ultra-small toilet.

Friendly people, tasty food, and the best clima. We especially love the lovely countryside, its old architecture, and the beautiful lake with a view of the castle.

It’s close to the lake but away from noise and trafic, which makes it great for families. One of the most original villas, with a wonderful garden, nice rooms, and friendly hosts.
