Bianco Pansion

The place is inexpensive and fairly close to the city center, but it has bed bugs. After I spotted the first one and asked for a refund, we were moved to another room that staff assured us was free of them. It wasn’t. The staff tried to help and suggest solutions, but said they weren’t allowed to give refunds, and it didn’t solve the problem. We had to leave at 11 at night, find somewhere else, and hope no bugs had got into our luggage. The rooms were dirty and moldy too.

I keep coming back here whenever I’m in Skopje. It’s around a 15-minute walk from the old town, and the price is really good. Nearby there are shops, bars, cafés, a shopping mall, a car wash, and a gas station. The staff are lovely and helpful. The rooms may not be the best, but for this price and location they’re completely acceptable.

I can put up with old rooms and noise, but not bugs in the bed. I got over 30 bites on my legs, hands, and wrists, and they took more than a month to heal. On top of that, my bag of cosmetics was stolen right from the room. Terrible.

We couldn’t sleep because the room wasn’t properly clean and it was so noisy. Then, during the night, we found bed bugs on the walls and in the bed. It was terrible, and we left in the middle of the night.
