They tried to move me to a much smaller apartment with far fewer facilities, at a different address far from the city center, and gave me no warning beforehand. The difference was completely unacceptable. When I called, the “boss” tried to say it was fine for the price, but the issue was that they weren’t providing what we’d agreed on. Then they wouldn’t even waive the cancellation fee. A real shame, especially given how welcoming Macedonian hospitality usually is.

Whenever I’ve stayed with cosmopolitan apartments in Skopje, it’s been a pleasant experience. They have a range of flats in the town center, and the staff are very helpful.

It was easy to walk almost everywhere from this great location, and the host was very friendly. They replied right away when I messaged on WhatsApp. The place itself wasn’t very clean, especially the bathroom, and there were bugs there too.

Highly recommended. The accommodation is excellent and right in the city center, close to the main attractions, restaurants, supermarkets, and a bakery.
