Hotel Alexandar II

We explored the sister hotel, Alexandre Boutique Hotel, just two minutes away, and found both places beautiful and comfortable. At Hotel Alexandar 2, the room was spacious, with a double bed and sofa, and the bed was especially soft. Breakfast had the usual European choices as well as Balkan flavors like ajvar and traditional desserts. The location makes it easy to see the city on foot: Alexander Square is five minutes away, with the Stone Bridge, the Alexander statue, and the Old Bazaar also within walking distance. The friendly, professional team welcomed us right from arrival. Thanks especially to Kalija and the reception staff for their warm hospitality. 🤍 We’d recommend a stay here when visiting Skopje.

Zora at reception really made my stay. He was kind, personable, professional, and helpful throughout, always meeting requests with a warm smile and doing more than I expected to make me comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and well cared for, and the location is great. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, and the stay was easy and relaxing. I’d happily return to Alexandar Hotel and recommend it to visitors. Thanks again for such a pleasant experience!

You’re right in the centre of Skopje, just a three-minute walk from the square. The staff are excellent, the rooms are clean and everything works. Breakfast is great too, and the price isn’t bad. Fantastic hotel.

The breakfast selection was nice, and most sights are an easy walk away. Staff were attentive and professional, but the hotel itself felt very average. Our room was small, though sufficient. All the rooms are on the second floor, and the lift didn’t work during our four-day stay, so it seems like this may be a recurring problem. We’d rate the place a solid 2.5 out of 5.
