Vila Europa

The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the portions were big enough that you don’t need to order another dish. It looked as mouthwatering as food pictures on Instagram, with fancy presentation and great taste. For reasonably priced food of this quality, you’ll love it. We also loved the hotel: the rooms were clean, the staff helpful, and the atmosphere cozy. Our beds were super comfortable, the room was quiet, and the lake looked so close from our bedroom window. The balcony view was stunning. Between the ambiance, menu, service, staff, and value for money, this deserves five stars. I’m coming back.

This is about the restaurant. The food was fine, but the service was terrible. We waited for hours, and I don’t know whether the problem was the kitchen or the waiters. There were far too many people and too few staff to handle everything. Hopefully they sort it out soon. We weren’t the only table complaining.

We’ve gone there every time we visit Struga, but after today we won’t be coming back. My family and I were ignored for 15 minutes, as if we weren’t there. My husband went to the counter to get a menu and call someone so we could order. A man started shouting that he should sit at his table and wait. My husband came back shocked and asked why he was being so rude. The reply was that there were other people, even though the restaurant was half empty. The treatment was unacceptable, so we left.

Fejzo looked after us so well during our fabulous dinner at Vila Europa on 28 May. The food and wine were first class, and we had a splendid evening. When it got late, we asked Fejzo to order a taxi, but he went further and drove us back to our hotel himself. Brilliant customer service.
