The pool was good, but the room was bad and sleeping was a nightmare. The bathroom was okay, though the toilet seat broke five or six times, maybe six or seven. The walls weren’t painted properly, and people working there kept coming into our room, so we had no privacy. There were two dogs; one was good, the other was dangerous. The internet was bad: three bars outside, two or three inside, and no signal in the bedroom. People were living in the villa.

We stayed here while visiting Ohrid lake and wished we’d booked for longer, it was that nice. The location between Ohrid and Struga is handy, with both just a few minutes away, and the pool was really nice. You’ll need a car since there are only a few restaurants nearby.

The people running the Vila were the most helpful I’ve met, and they even offered homegrown organic vegetables for our salad. It’s between Ohrid and Struga, about 7-8 minutes by car to Ohrid and 8-9 to Struga. The place was clean and sanitized, with all the amenities you’d need for a vacation or short stay, plus private parking. The pool was amazing, with clean water that wasn’t heavily chlorinated. Its filtration runs 24 hours, so you can swim whenever you like. I wouldn’t really recommend swimming at night, though, as nights are much colder in this part of the country. I highly recommend it when visiting Macedonia, especially if you’re flying into Ohrid Airport, which is just five minutes away.

The owners were very friendly, and the room was clean and nicely decorated. It had a TV, kitchen, fridge, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony. Great pool, and a nice view of the lake.
