The rooms are clean, with single beds and a small TV, around 21 inches, with cable. Service is very slow. The food selection is usually just four dishes, and there's no a la carte option.

The views are amazing at both sunset and sunrise. The hotel was good and quiet, about a 10 minute drive from the center. We had to go there to get food because the hotel was closed at dinner time.

The setting was amazing and the food was lovely. I really enjoyed spending the night here. The rooms are private and clean, though basic, as you'd expect at a monastery. The shower worked, but broken fittings made it awkward to use.

A beautiful spot with comfortable rooms and really friendly staff. There's safe bicycle storage for anyone touring. The attached restaurant is great, with excellent food, generous portions and low prices. Breakfast was excellent too.

We went to see the magnificent 19th century church and didn't stay at the hotel. The frightening exterior frescoes showing the revelation and deadly sins were used to teach the Bible and proper behavior to peasants who couldn't read, so they could live righteous lives. We ate at the restaurant too. The meal came as meat with sides, and the ribs and trout were perfect. I personally didn't enjoy the salad as much. It had really good cheese, but too many different flavors for me.
