Hotel International

Breakfast starts at 7am, but if a big group gets there before you, you may not find much to eat. The breakfast itself was poor. The beds were hard as a rock, and the pillows were small and thin. Our room hadn’t been cleaned at all, and the bathroom floor was covered in long hair. There was also a lot of moisture in the walk-in shower. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which improved the stay. Breakfast was acceptable, though nothing special, and the facilities felt fairly basic. Hotel International in Ohrid is advertised as four stars, but several guests have said it feels closer to three. It’s still a decent choice for a comfortable stay with good service, though the facilities may not meet the expectations of a four-star rating.

The hotel is nowhere near a decent European four-star standard and has plenty of room to improve. It’s far from the beaches and downtown, so you’ll need a taxi or a car to get anywhere. Rooms are spacious, but the sound insulation is the worst I’ve experienced. With the door and walls as they are, it feels like sleeping in a tent. Breakfast was very poor, with almost no choices or highlights.

The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless, and the service felt very professional. Miss Teodora and Mr Goran greeted our group from Türkiye with warm smiles, and all 29 of us were happy with our stay. I especially want to thank the staff who looked after us so gently.
