The view was undeniably beautiful, but that was the only good part of our stay. From arrival onward, we felt unwelcome. Staff were unfriendly and unprofessional, and sometimes rude, which made the experience uncomfortable. Our room was extremely dirty and clearly poorly maintained. Basic cleanliness and attention to detail were missing, unacceptable for any hotel, especially one claiming five stars. It does not live up to that rating, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

We went on vacation at the end of February, and the food was the biggest letdown. Its quality was very low, with insects running around and even inside the food, as shown in the photo. The hotel is definitely not five-star by European standards. Our room was large enough, but lacked basics like hangers, enough power outlets, and somewhere to put our luggage. The bathroom was decent but poorly equipped. The spa was okay, though the steam room was out of order. Service was okay too, but we didn’t feel welcome.

There’s a café bar on site, though the food choice is limited to toast and chips, so good to know in advance. The lake water is clear, refreshing, and beautiful, and some parts of the beach have natural tree shade. But the facilities and upkeep really let the spot down. There are no public toilets, and the changing “rooms” have personal rubbish scattered around, making them unpleasant and unhygienic. Cigarette ends and other small rubbish are also strewn across the beach. The place has real potential, but the natural beauty is being overshadowed by poor care and a lack of awareness from visitors. A bit more effort from management and visitors could make it special.

I went yesterday just to use the spa. I stay in five-star hotels at least 6-7 times a year, and this IS NOT a 5-star place. The men’s changing room lockers don’t work, the pool beds are broken, and the elevators are for max 2 people at a time, lol. There’s almost no choice of soft drinks either.
