It works as a hotel in Bamako, but I wouldn’t call it five-star. The facilities feel worn and pretty bare, and there weren’t even any tea bags in the room.

The service was really poor. I called room service to get someone to pick up a broken glass bottle from the floor, but no one ever came. The hotel itself is old and not very nice either.

I’ve stayed here at least six or seven times, and it’s possibly the only hotel in Bamako where you can stay without worrying about anything. Breakfast used to be average, but got better as visitor numbers went up. The exchange rate for USD or euros is the one thing I don’t like, so I’d change money outside or pay by card.

A disappointing, bad hotel. The staff aren’t professional, and it doesn’t even deserve one star.

I had a good stay here in 2024, with nice rooms and a beautiful view. The breakfast setup and menu were really good. The room internet was weak, though, and after my key card broke, they couldn’t replace it for two days.
