The food was superb, and they looked after us very well as vegetarians. Daniel might have been able to arrange boat transport for us to eat elsewhere, but the guesthouse food was so good that we didn’t need to. He also arranged trips and took us around the village, doing everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was spacious and cosy, with a comfortable bed and a really hot power shower. December nights and mornings are cold, so bring warm clothes, though they provide plenty of blankets. You can hear motorboats passing, but we didn’t mind. It’s part of the village’s rhythm, and when it falls quiet at night, peace descends. We slept very soundly.

Weaver's feels like a little secret, more like staying in someone’s home than at a cookie cutter chain. It’s clean, friendly and well maintained, and the experience reminded me of Grandma’s cooking. Every meal was tasty, especially the chicken potato Curry. The lotus weaving shop tour was amazing and showed us how the process works. The hotel is its own island in a community of 200+ homes. A small boat is always available, and you need one to get around. Rooms are very large, comfortable and clean, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Boatmen start working at sunrise, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep late. I recommend Weaver's and will return.

The house is perfectly located right in the middle of a small village, with beautiful rooms. Daniel and his team made us feel like special guests, looking after us, sharing their experience and showing us around in a fun way. We loved the doggies too. It was an extraordinary stay on Inle Lake, and I hope we can return one day. Many thanks to the whole team!

The food was very good, which matters since there isn’t really anywhere else to eat. The staff are super friendly and know how to help when you need a boat to get around. It’s a hotel on the water, and mornings are noisy, but I guess that’s just how Inle Lake is.

The fresh, local food is cooked at home and simply delicious. The staff are caring and attentive. This is the best way to experience the real Inle Lake. Congratulations on a great job!
