We booked a month ahead and got the nice rooms, so it’s worth planning ahead. The place is affordable, clean, and has a pleasant atmosphere and location. The garden seating areas and balcony are lovely for spending time outside. It can be quiet too, as long as there aren’t too many guests. Breakfast isn’t included, but there are lots of shops within walking distance. A few things could be better: the water heater is hard to adjust, switching between too hot and too cold. The toilet bum gun is usable but not in great condition. Water flow is very slow, so be patient if you use the bathtub.

A pretty place with a warm receptionist, and a romantic option for couples. Some rooms are large. If you want to experience local life in Kalaw, relax in the weather and ride a bike around town. It’s a bit of a walk to Kalaw Market.

Just behind seven sisters restaurant on the edge of town, this was a great place to stay, about five minutes from the market and bus station. The staff spoke English very well and were generous with snacks, tea, and lots of free refills. We spent a relaxed evening watching movies in the TV room. It didn’t have many pillows, but when the staff saw we’d taken them up on the offer to feel at home, they quickly brought a pile of pillows and, of course, more snacks.

The motel itself has a lovely atmosphere, with colorful flowers all around. It’s close to lots of visitor spots, including Kalaw station, clock tower, city view, view point, and cafe-yard maluca. The location is nice, prices are reasonable, and the service was excellent. Wonderful experience, highly recommend for families or solo trips. Best motel ever ❤️

It was clean, and breakfast was the highlight. The pillows are way too big to sleep on. Maybe good for cuddling? Avoid the sister restaurant, though, it’s ridiculously overpriced.
