Silver Beach Hotel

We had a great holiday here, with good service and great value. It isn't the most modern place at Ngapali Breach, but we liked its relaxed, low-key atmosphere. Breakfast was basic but okay. They made up the room promptly while we ate and quickly replaced my rock-hard pillow with a soft one. Good location, decent beach chairs, and the sand was raked daily.

We upgraded to a sea-view bungalow. It had a large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, plus a living room with furniture for two and a study table. The fridge was empty and the kettle was quite old, but both worked. I was happy with the spacious bathroom, which had a rain shower, tap, handheld shower, bathtub, and a working water heater. The three best things were the bedroom's sea view, the living room's garden view, and the bathroom.

The beach is right outside, clean, quiet, and free of rocks. Breakfast is a good buffet served on the beach, and the open-air restaurant is cheap compared with places outside, with food that's average to good. Free airport shuttle and friendly staff too.

The service was bad, and breakfast wasn't good, with little variety. Some rooms are nice, but others are in a cramped space.
