The breakfast felt homely, with fruit, drinks, and a decent serving of a main dish ordered the night before. My room was roomy and comfortable, and housekeeping refreshed it each day. Hotel Ngu Wah was easy to reach by taxi or Grab, and the staff were especially helpful with our bags. A pleasant, good-value stay, and I’d happily come back. 😊

Most rooms seem to have double beds, and the rates, around 58k to 80k, felt fair. The rooms themselves are nice, though the corridor could be cleaner. Breakfast isn’t a buffet: you pick one option, such as fried rice with juice or a bun with coffee, and get a single portion.

I stayed for about ten days on the long-stay rate, which took 5000 MMK off the usual price. Breakfast was included and the room rate was reasonable. I also left my wallet in the lobby one day, and the front desk staff contacted me and returned it with everything still there. Thanks so much, especially to the front desk team. I’d recommend this hotel to people looking for a mid-range budget stay. Four stars for the service overall.

The room cleaning was neglected, and the service left me really disappointed. At 11 AM they asked me to leave temporarily so they could work on the air conditioning. I waited all day, then got ready to go out, but nobody came. They said they’d come the next day, but I couldn’t leave because of work, so they made me move to another room. Bad service throughout.

The view was really good, especially from a higher floor, which I’d recommend asking for. The room was okay and the service was fine. The price is cheap, though I think that may be because of the pandemic.
