We booked just one night because we had a layover before our next flight, and the room smelled strongly of smoke. The toilet seat was dirty and there was no toilet paper, so we cleaned it ourselves. We then asked to switch rooms because we're non-smokers and the smell was really bothersome, but the hotel was fully booked and we had to stay there. The staff were nice, but that didn't make the room any better. Never again.

The staff were friendly and the amenities were fine, though the rooms are on the small side. Breakfast was mediocre, and the sky view restaurant didn't offer much of a view. You can rent a bike here. It's close to some good restaurants, and a short walk can spare you a lot of disappointment.

We'd planned on two nights in Mandalay, but ended up adding two more because the hotel and its staff made our stay so comfortable and fun. Everything felt just right, from the clean, comfortable room and daily service to the food, jacuzzi, and terrace views. We felt at home, and the staff were attentive and welcoming, always looking after us. A wonderful stay.

The breakfast buffet is local and very good, and the hotel is well located with guarded parking. Rooms are decent, with a good mattress, and there are plenty of staff. The rooftop has two small round pools and a jacuzzi tub. I'd come back.

They still wanted the full payment at check-in, despite the poor upkeep and bad food. The room and bathroom were tiny, there was no parking, and the night receptionist was lousy. There's a sky view rooftop, but breakfast isn't served there.
