There’s a large car park, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are very hospitable, and the restaurant food is good. Breakfast has a good range of choices too. The infinity pool is crystal clear, but I wouldn’t recommend swimming in winter. It’s ice cold, lol.

The main drawback is the nighttime noise, especially from nearby restaurants. Otherwise, the buffet breakfast is tasty and offers plenty of variety, and the friendly staff provide warm service. It’s one of the few international hotels in Mandalay, managed by Accor of France. The downtown location is convenient, and it has the facilities and amenities you need.

We enjoyed our stay at ibis and will definitely come back. The room was spacious and clean, with a big, very comfortable bed that fit me and my child. Breakfast had lots of options, from western to eastern styles, and the staff were very friendly and always smiling.

I’ve been here for two months and have another two months to go. There are 31 teachers staying here, and all the staff work extremely hard to please guests. As a swimmer, I love the pool. The gym is good too, with a range of equipment and free weights. I’d like management to strictly enforce a no-smoking rule across the premises. Unfortunately, many guests still smoke in their rooms.

The sunrise was beautiful, and I was able to really enjoy it in the morning, which made my one-night stay worthwhile. The room was comfortable, though there was some noise from an outdoor bar and neighboring rooms. The staff are friendly.
