Lucky, the dog, is the cutest one on the whole beach. We wished we could have stayed longer, because we really enjoyed the place. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and the cabins were cute and spotlessly clean. It was hot while we were there, but with the windows and the location, it didn't feel too hot inside, and we slept very well. Breakfast was good too, with both western and local options.

We stayed in the top hut and had a nice view, and I loved the garden. The beach by Lovers Island was only a five minute walk away. Our hosts were wonderful, picked us up from our previous guest house, and did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The food was really good, including fresh seafood and Papaya salad made with fruit from their garden. Bikes were available to use for free. I'd love to come back.

The rooms were simple and had everything we needed, and we'd happily stay here again. The hotel is across the road from the beach, about a two minute walk, on the slightly quieter end. There are some nice restaurants along the road, and the hotel restaurant is great too. We looked forward to the included breakfast each morning, always a surprise, with lovely fresh fruit.

It's only about three minutes to the beach, and this is such a friendly, welcoming place. The staff do what they can to make your stay special, arranging boat trips, a delicious BBQ, or a taxi if you need one. The restaurant is a must try, everything is fresh and made from scratch.

It's very close to the beach, and the price is very reasonable. The hut is a basic wooden one with cold water and a mosquito net, which is all you need by the beach. Breakfast is good, with an à la carte menu and excellent coffee from Shan state. Since most people arrive on the night bus, call ahead to ask about checking in very early, or book the night you arrive.
