The food is great and the hotel is nice, with tea time at 3:00 PM, though the swimming pool is quite small. But we had a frightening experience: around 3:00 - 4:00 AM, a male staff member tried to open our room with a key card. He didn’t knock or ask if anyone was inside. Luckily, we’d locked the door from within with another lock, so he couldn’t open it all the way. When we rushed to close the door, we saw a tattoo on his hand. We didn’t report it to the manager because we didn’t want to ruin our trip, but other guests should make sure their doors are locked at night.

The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help, and if you asked for something, they took care of it right away. The room was clean and comfy, though a bit worn, with a rusty door and a broken toilet flush. The beach is clean because it’s away from the main village, and the pool is nice. There’s a good buffet breakfast, plus buffet tea time at 3pm, which is a lovely touch. They also have level 2 EV chargers.

The beach location is good, and there’s no longer a rocky outcrop. Room prices are reasonable compared with other hotels along the beach. The food didn’t meet the highest standard for what it costs, so I’d suggest trying a local kitchen in the village instead of eating at the hotel restaurant. A fair-priced option for beach lovers who want to stay near the shore.

Ocean Blue has spacious rooms with plenty of storage, including a large wardrobe, and lovely beach views. The staff are friendly and attentive, and deal with concerns promptly. The air conditioners are old and noisy, and dining here was a little disappointing, though there are plenty of local eateries nearby. A good choice for a beachfront stay with roomy accommodation and helpful service.
