Bagan Emerald Hotel

The only thing I’d improve is the WiFi speed, though I was on vacation and didn’t need to stay connected all the time. Otherwise, this place was hassle free. The front desk can sort out information, bus and air tickets, and tours without extra fees. E-bikes are available there too, and it’s about 10 minutes to old or new Bagan by e-bike. Our room was very clean and cozy, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We loved staying here and would definitely come back to Bagan.

It’s a calm, quiet place, and I loved the staff. The hotel is only about five minutes from the city bus station, with a comfy bed, a cool pool, and affordable e-bike rental. Getting to Bagan’s temples takes around a 15-minute ride, so be ready for sudden weather changes in winter, early in the morning and at dusk after sunset. I’ll definitely come back.

We’ve stayed in Bagan a few times, and this has been the best place so far. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good, with plenty to choose from, and the staff were very friendly. A sewer problem made our friends’ room smell really bad, so the hotel upgraded both them and us for free to much better rooms. The new rooms smelled good too.

We stayed at Bagan Emerald Hotel for a week and had a great time. The manager was super friendly and went to a lot of effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Most of the staff were very friendly too, apart from one man who was rigid and not customer focused. Breakfast had lots of options. I especially liked the fried banana, yoghurt, and bacon, though I thought the bacon could have been fried a bit more. It’s close to the bus station and not too far from the airport, but farther from restaurants and tourist spots. That wasn’t an issue for us since we had our own car. I can recommend it, especially at the low price on Agoda.
