The WiFi only works in certain areas, and the shower pressure is weak. Still, I found it a good place to rest: the room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom looked modern. Breakfast had a good selection, although the pillow was thick.

The food was good, and the hotel has a stylish look. Nobody on staff spoke English, so we had a few funny mix-ups. They were all nice people, though.

Hotel United Hpa an is in a good location, but the service and follow-through were really poor. Breakfast is supposed to run from 6:00-9:00. I arrived at 8:50 and was told it was finished. I went to reception to complain, and they didn't say a thing. No more next time.

I agreed to pay 30 USD at united hotel, then they suddenly asked me for 40 USD without giving a reason. Why are they changing the price so arbitrarily?

It's a mid-range hotel in the city, handy for getting around, with breakfast available and clean rooms. The building has four floors and no lift.
