There are massage places, a barber that does shampoo, KTV, and Wao Ramen close by. Wao Ramen was really good, so give it a try. The room is small but fine for sleeping and showering, and breakfast was okay too. Getting to the port or sightseeing spots takes a bit of a walk, though it’s manageable, or you can catch a bike taxi at the nearby corner. A reasonable hotel.

For two people, the rates of 25,000 MMK or 35,000 MMK for a night are very cheap, so I’d recommend staying here. The breakfast was very good, the air conditioning worked nicely, and the laundry service was good. The towels were clean, but there was no hot water and I didn’t find the bed comfortable. Coffee was instant, and the Wi-Fi connection was really, really poor. For a budget inn, the price and service I got felt about matched.

I only visited the rooms and didn’t stay. They were 40,000 kyats, which felt too expensive. Accommodation in Myeik seems pricey for no clear reason.

Foreigners are welcome here. It was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and breakfast included, for 18,000 a night, around 12 US dollars.
