We paid 18,000 kyat for a fan room with two beds. It was clean and had enough room for our things, two guys bike packing. Wi-Fi was free, though not very stable, but it was okay. The staff were all friendly and happy to help. There’s a restaurant opposite the motel with food and drinks, including noodles from 1,000 kyat and beer at 800 kyat a bottle.
It’s cheap and right in the downtown area, but I wouldn’t leave valuables here. Some windows don’t lock properly, so keep an eye on your belongings.
A double room was $12, or 14,000 ks. No breakfast, but there was AC and a cold shared shower. Wi-Fi worked only on the lower floors, and the password changes daily.
A decent budget stay. My AC room was clean and the service was friendly. What more do you need for $20? 😃
It’s an old, long-standing hotel in town, right in the middle of downtown. There’s space to park around five cars in front.
