Dream Villa Hotel

It’s affordable, quiet, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are on the small side, with dim lighting, no landline phone, and compact bathrooms. A nicer fragrance in the rooms would make the stay better.

The staff were very friendly, and continental breakfast was included. The clean rooms had hot and cold showers and a bath. There’s no heating or air-con, but extra blankets are available. Toiletries were provided, including a toothbrush, toothpaste, a comb, and other bath and shower items. The hotel is close to the market, restaurants, pagodas, mosque, and church.

We arrived in Kalaw at 7:30am on a night bus, and the staff helped us check in within an hour. I really appreciated that. The hotel is also in a handy spot, about a five-minute walk from the night bus stop and near the market and downtown. Our third-floor room was clean and fresh, with a comfortable bed, warm sunlight, and a good view from the window. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was good.

I was ill for two days, and the staff were so kind and helpful. Every day they asked my girlfriend if I was feeling better. The rooms were beautiful, and breakfast was really good with plenty to choose from. A fantastic place.
