I found a small cockroach in the first room, and reception moved me to another room on the same fifth floor. That one smelled strongly rotten, and the sheets had dirt stains. The hygiene was poor, and the price felt high.

The rooftop restaurant has a sweeping city view and serves breakfast along with a range of tasty dishes. There’s plenty of private parking, both underground and beside the hotel. I also found it good value for the money. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the hotel has a nice atmosphere. It sits between the airport and downtown, with a bus stop about a five-minute walk away for trips to Shwedagon pagoda or the downtown area by Yangon river. Restaurants and bars on Waizayantar Road are around a ten-minute drive away.

The rooms are clean, though on the small side, and the customer service was good. It’s handy for the airport and taxis are easy to get. There’s also an Indian restaurant right in front of the hotel.

A cool, tidy place to rest or hang out, with friendly staff and good views. It’s close to Kabaraye Pagoda Road and pyay road. Parking in the basement is difficult, though there’s another lot beside the hotel with space for six cars.

The hotel felt new and was very clean. We especially liked the view from the penthouse breakfast room, and the staff were great.
