Hotel Prime

Everything else was okay, but breakfast wasn’t included, and the breakfast service ends at 9 am.

The limousine arrangement to the airport turned into a mess. I’d asked for a 4:00am pickup, and they said that wasn’t possible but 4:30am would work. When I came down at 4:30am, the reception told me the hotel limousine had taken other guests. Why hadn’t they told me earlier? I had to call a taxi, which was exactly what I was trying to avoid by booking the limousine. The service was bad, and I didn’t feel new customers were treated with much respect. This was a really bad experience during my stay.

The staff were kind and helpful, and I appreciated that they tried to handle our requests. The hotel is quite close to the airport, with warm water available and a small mall and supermarket about a 5-6 minute walk away. Some rooms have cockroaches, though, and the electricity can be a bit tricky after a power cut. You have to take the card out and put it back in. The restaurant food was only average, and the choices were limited.

I wasn’t sure about staying longer than a day, but wound up spending a whole week here. The rooms aren’t glamorous, but they’re comfortable, and the service really lifted my mood. Everyone was lovely and took good care of me as a local, which hasn’t always been my experience at other hotels. Breakfast is included, and the buffet was good. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, and this one kept the food tasting consistent while charging less than many of them. It’s convenient, too. There’s no gym or pool here, which could be an issue for some, but there’s a gym less than five minutes away, near restaurants and a hospital.
