Cloud 10 Boutique Hotel

We had room 201, which was great and even had a balcony, though our friends said their room was loud at night. Rooms varied quite a bit in quality and soundproofing. The hotel is good value, with Shwedagon and Kandawgyi Lake within walking distance, and it's peaceful and comfortable as a base for a few days in Yangon. Staff were friendly, though sometimes their information wasn't right. When asked, they were happy to call around, like booking a reservation or finding a local gym. Breakfast was very inconsistent, and basically all of our orders came out wrong, possibly because their English was limited.

The service was top notch, as it was everywhere else in the country. The hotel is near the park and Shwedagon Pagoda, though you'll want a taxi to get downtown. Maybe Yangon prices are just higher, but at the same price elsewhere we had a bigger room, a better bathroom, and a better breakfast. It was fine, just not as good as the other three-star hotels in that price range on our trip.

The neighborhood is peaceful, and downtown is easy to reach. Service was very good, and the room was nice. The bathroom did have an issue with water spilling outside, but overall I had a good stay.

We came to the cafe, and the chef was nice. The Burmese-style chicken and potato curry was the best I've ever had, served with rice and vegetables. They also played classical music while we ate. Loved it!
