Prince Hotel

The rooftop bar has a great view over Yangon, and you can get a massage and spa services here too. The staff were friendly throughout our stay, and the cleanliness was up to a high standard. I’ll definitely come back. I can’t think of a reason to say no to this hotel.

The hotel owner shows no consideration for the neighbors. They keep blasting loud music and causing havoc in our community. It’s completely unacceptable, ignorant, and disrespectful to the people around them. If I could, I’d give them zero.

I used to like this hotel and had stayed around 10 days before without any major problems. This time, though, it was the worst experience I’ve had here, and I’ll never stay again. I booked hoping to relax, but the poor service made the whole trip frustrating. Reception wouldn’t help with something as simple as picking up an item I’d left at the deli, or even sending it to my room. Every small request felt like a burden. The female staff were especially rude and unprofessional, with no basic hospitality. Only the male staff were polite and tried to help, which made the difference in attitude stand out even more. I’m really disappointed that one of my favorite places has let me down like this. Management needs to train the staff, especially the female employees, in customer service.

I spent two weeks at Prince Hotel in April 2024 and left with beautiful memories. The rooms were clean and pleasant, the breakfast buffet was tasty with lots to choose from, including Mohinga, Kyarzanchat, Friend rice, cakes, and fruits. The usual-season price is expensive, but I got a discount. There’s a piano, massage, mini art gallery, and rooftop bar in the hotel. It’s worth considering if you want to experience midtown Yangon life in Tamwe. Just be ready for power trips, since electricity is supplied in hour blocks across Yangon.
