Queen's Park Hotel

The rooms are really good value for money, clean, and good overall. In the morning, the place feels graceful, splendid, and majestic, but after sunset it turns creepy. Some people smoke and ignore you, and the staff smile at you as if they know something about you. It feels chilling, like a dark corner of something unknown.

Junior reception staff get 8/10, cleanliness 7/10, breakfast 6/10, the security guard 8/10, and room service 7/10. The higher management, reception supervisor, and operation manager were irresponsible and cowardly. They were reluctant to return my customer deposit cash when I asked. I had to make a police report before the manager agreed to come in early to return it before I checked out. Without the police report, he wouldn’t agree to come in early. He didn’t even dare to face me and apologize for what he’d done. If you stay here, don’t leave a cash deposit with them. You might not get it back. I hope the hotel GM or Director reviews how the place is managed. If junior staff don’t have authority to handle dollars or other rights, then whoever does have authority should be reachable at all times and ready to return to the hotel to resolve issues. I asked the supervisor and operation manager to come back and settle my problem, but both chose to stay home and sleep. What are they trying to show? They showed no respect for customers and seemed to be trying to tarnish the hotel’s reputation. In my opinion, they aren’t sufficiently qualified for their positions.

The rooms are pretty standard, and the service is okay too.

The place seems poorly maintained. The air conditioning barely worked, and the tap water was quite dirty. For breakfast, the box had steamed rice and just a few small pieces of fried chicken.
