The grounds are clean and attractive, and the rooms are nice. Breakfast was very satisfying too. A great place to stay in Bagan.

The breakfast at Bagan Umbra Hotel was a real highlight, with a big, tasty spread each morning and enough variety for everyone. It's also in a handy, safe spot close to the market, restaurants, and shops. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt friendly. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return. With the location, breakfast, and service, I'd definitely recommend Bagan Umbra Hotel.

The service was excellent and the price fair. We liked the location and the breakfast too. We did have dinner at the hotel, though, and the food quality still needs improvement.

The reception experience was just unpleasant. The older staff in particular were difficult to deal with. Whenever I asked a question, they replied as if helping was a bother, coming across as rude, unfriendly, and completely uninterested.

It feels like staying in a tropical garden, and there's even an ancient temple in the grounds. Breakfast was fresh and good, with the usual choices, including eggs cooked how you want them. Staff let me check in early without any trouble and booked my bus ticket to Mandalay. It's also well placed for visiting the temples. There are regular power cuts, though we're only visiting. The staff were friendly, and I'd stay here again and tell anyone in the area to give it a try.
