Pann Cherry Hotel

The staff's handling of basic service was the worst part. They hadn't left a bottle of water, couldn't remember whether I'd handed in my key, and wouldn't even try to find another air-conditioning remote. My mother-in-law set a towel on the bathroom's glass shelf, it fell, and they charged us for it, even though it broke during normal use. That's poor management. The room itself was filthy and smelled bad, the door was broken, and the bathroom was disgusting with no hot water. Ants covered the door frame, which wasn't shown in the pictures. There wasn't even a coffee pot. Easily the worst hotel I've stayed in.

The curtains were thin and the lighting was so harsh it kept the room bright all night. You don't get much for the price, though the room was clean and the staff were great. Also, the Google Maps pin is off. The place is about 300m around the corner.

I wouldn't recommend staying here if a good experience matters to you. I booked through Agoda, then was told those rooms were gone and I should take a more expensive one because I was a foreigner. They blamed Agoda, though the hotel is responsible for marking which rooms are available. The place itself isn't bad, but the service was horrible and they handled the problem badly.

The kitties at Pan Cherry Hotel (Pyin Oo Lwin) are cute, and it's a nice place to relax with family.
