This place has really gone downhill. It calls itself a hotel, but the standard felt below a motel. The staff were lazy, unfriendly, and paid little attention to guests. The room was old and not clean at all. A few years ago breakfast was included in the same price, but that’s no longer the case.

The location was handy, right beside the bus station, and there was free WiFi in the room. But the neighbors were noisy, and there was no air conditioning or hot water. Breakfast was odd: just a bowl of rice with no sauce, vegetables, or anything else, plus a few pieces of watermelon and coffee or tea.

We’d told them we’d be checking in late, but the staff member was asleep in the lobby. It took about five minutes to wake them and get them coherent. Our room window was wide open, and the place was full of mosquitoes and bugs.

There’s no backup power, but hot and cold water were still available when the electricity went out. The location is nice, right beside the main road.
