The staff made the place feel like home, always friendly, attentive, and ready to help. I liked that breakfast had different dishes and didn't get repetitive, which is handy for a longer stay. Fame Hotel Yangon is affordable and well placed for getting to the city's familiar attractions. Kandawgyi Garden is nearby, and I often go there for walks on holidays.

I visited about two months ago. The hotel is near downtown and Shwedagon pagoda, a well-known tourist spot. You can also get a nice view inside Kandawgyi lake.

It's at 28A posein road, and getting a taxi is easy. This is a bed and breakfast hotel, rated 2 stars. It should suit you if that's what you're after.

An okay hotel. The internet was better than average by Myanmar standards.

The public gardens are just a short walk away. The staff are very friendly and can help arrange bus or train tickets.
