Hato Inn

The sheets, pillows and blankets were awful and dirty, like they’d just remade the beds after checkout without cleaning them. The drains were clogged and the water heater didn’t work. Mosquitoes were annoying, and we had to switch rooms because we were itchy. I even got allergies from the dust and dirt. The reception guy was grouchy about giving us another room. If you have no choice but to stay here, I’d avoid a room near the road because it’s too noisy. This is my last time staying here.

The place was in good shape, but someone doing breakfast service woke us up in the morning. Breakfast was just 2 slices of old french toasts and a coffee. You can’t pay by credit card either.

The room and service are perfect, and the extra roof bar is updated and well configured. The place has changed its name to Black Hawk. They should add a smoking area.

The rooms are small, and the service was bad. There’s no pressure pump for the water, so the shower flow is very slow. They also don’t provide a toothbrush or facial towel.
